FAQ

Ask us to enforce a judgment

There are various methods of enforcing a judgment.  We are happy to discuss with you your enforcement options depending upon the size of the debt and the debtor's circumstances once County Court proceedings have been commenced and judgment obtained.

The most common type of enforcement is to request a Bailiff or (if appropriate) a High Court Enforcement Officer to seize sufficient goods from the debtor's home or premises for sale at auction to satisfy the judgment debt, interest and recoverable costs.

Other types of enforcement measures are;

  • Charging Orders (obtaining a Charge over the debtor's property or asset's to secure the judgment debt),

  • Attachment of Earnings Order's (requiring the debtor's employers to deduct instalment payments from the debtor's wages until the judgment debt is paid in full)

  • Third Party Debt Orders (requiring a third party who owes money to the debtor to pay the money to you rather than the debtor).
